Top Travel and Local Apps on Android in Spain: Q3 2025 Performance

In the third quarter of 2025, the travel and local app landscape in Spain saw varied performances across the top five Android applications. This data, sourced from Sensor Tower, offers a glimpse into the trends in weekly downloads and active users.

Booking.com: Hotels & Travel maintained a strong presence, with downloads starting at approximately 36K at the beginning of the quarter. However, a gradual decline was observed, ending at about 18K by the end of September. The app's active user base began at 3M and experienced a decrease, concluding at 2.2M.

Airbnb also showed a downward trend in downloads, starting at 31K and dropping to around 16K. Active users started at 1.1M, fluctuating slightly but remaining below 900K by the quarter's end.

Trip.com: Book Flights, Hotels experienced a steady download rate, peaking at 22K mid-quarter before settling at 16K. The active users increased from 84K to 86K, showing a consistent engagement.

Cozycozy: All accommodations saw a sharp decline in downloads from 25K to just over 3K by the end of the quarter. Despite this, the app's active users remained relatively steady, fluctuating around 50K.

BlaBlaCar: Carpooling and Bus began with 13K downloads, reaching a peak of 23K mid-August, and then settling back to 14K. Active users started at 391K, increased to 464K in early August, and then slightly decreased to 382K.
